Desert
Passage at Aladdin
Desert Passage is one of those “indoors look like outdoors”
shopping experience first seen at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. At
Desert Passage, you’ll follow ancient trade routes that take you
from Spain to Northern Africa, ending at the Arabian Sea. You’ll
be surrounded by a city skyline and blue skies and even an occasional
thunder storm!
Local
stores include Honolulu Surf Company and ABC!
Desert Passage also offers eight restaurants and two nightclubs!

The
District at Green Valley Ranch
The District at Green Valley Ranch is an interesting concept. They've
created an urban corridor where people live and shop -- perhaps how people
used to live before the invent of the suburb.
The District
is adjacent to Green Valley Ranch and is centered around Main Street.
Along Main Street are 40 shops and restaurants, including Ann Taylor Loft,
Antrhopologie, Coldwater Creek, J. Jill, Talbots and more.
Above the shops are
condominium lofts, flats and offices.
As a shopping destination,
you should stop by The District if you're visiting Green Valley Ranch
or you're in the area. Main Street is a charming area, and there's an
eclectic mix of stores.
As a place
to live, I'm not sure how this would work. Vegas has a good reputation
of creating replicas of the "real thing," but this urban community
is a bit of a stretch. At one end of Main Street is Green Valley Ranch.
At the other end is parking. And more parking surrounds Main Street, so
you're basically living at a shopping mall. Plus, there's no grocery story
where you can buy food. If they wanted to create a real urban corridor,
they should have put a corner grocery store too.

you’ll enjoy the streets of Rome with a changing skyline; dine at
various restaurants (including Cheesecake Factory), visit the Fountain
of the Gods and the 50,000-gallon salt water aquarium; watch Atlantis
and Festival Fountain shows that starts on the hour of every hour.
Local stores

Grand
Canal Shoppes at Venetian
Offering
a taste of Venice, Italy, the Grand Canal winds its way through the cobblestone
walkways, shops and street-side cafes at this shopping venue that -–
like the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace -– offers a changing sky.
When you’re ready for a break, head over the St. Mark’s Square
or take a ride in a gondola.
The food
court includes a Krispy Kreme store that offers freshly made doughnuts!
Look for the lit “fresh doughnuts” sign to indicate that some
fresh ones are rolling off the conveyor belt.

Mandalay
Place
In 2003, Mandalay Bay opened its new shopping venue in the sky bridge
that connects Mandalay Bay to Luxor. Unlike other hotel shopping venues,
it does not have a theme.
